Ausstellungsbrücke

For the past ten years, the Ausstellungsbrücke has been displaying contemporary art from or relating to Lower Austria. As the exhibition space of the department of arts and culture of the Lower Austrian Government it supports local and regional art production, and with up to ten exhibitions annually, shows all branches of contemporary art. High above the square Landhausplatz the „glass gallery“ links administrative and government offices. Its architectural function of bridging two building blocks symbolises the idea of bringing art and people together. In recent years, the Ausstellungsbrücke has earned its place among Lower Austrian art galleries as a platform for renowned as well as up-and-coming talents, crossborder exhibition projects, and social or educational art initiatives, and ranges as a popular venue for social and artistic encounters.
